Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport and treatment. As an EMT, you will play a crucial role in responding to emergencies, assessing patient conditions, and delivering critical care services.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and assess patients’ medical conditions.
• Provide urgent care and patient care in emergency situations.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
• Manage airways effectively and monitor vital signs throughout treatment.
• Communicate medical terminology clearly with other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in transport of patients.
• Drive emergency response vehicles safely and efficiently to the scene of incidents.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records of care provided.
• Collaborate with other medical personnel to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• PA State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification.
• Valid EMSVO enforcement
• Knowledge of PA BLS protocols and procedures.
• Proficient in performing physical examinations and assessing vital signs.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to emergency medicine.
• Strong skills in airway management and urgent care practices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Current BLS CPR Certification
